They’re the books that provoke the mind, inspire thought, spark discussion, and are relevant a generation – or a few centuries – after they were first written.

Good Books are the books that not only engage the mind but nourish it, that not only entertain but enlighten, that not only raise questions but provide answers. (Though beyond all this, we are far from opposed from throwing in a bit of wholesome fun!)

We are a Catholic company, and many of our forthcoming titles are classic Catholic works of former generations, now hard to find, out of print, or unavailable in attractive, accessible editions. Whether Catholic works or otherwise, though, we are committed to St. Paul’s exhoration to the Philippians: “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
